I have been ranting about the abysmal service that i have been handed out by Airtel on my blog.

This post provides hope that it is not a completely dark world. If those in the customs corridor can change their attitudes and mindsets, i wonder why it hasnt permeated beyond.

What is in select pockets must go mainstream ! We live in that hope!

Also, i gues what we get can also be a function of what we expect. your post helps me expect better !

These changes are visible every where. I am at Mysore and had gone to Bangalore for a weekend. I didn't like the place. Pollution and Traffic. However, whenever I had any problem with autowala or with directions, the traffic police were more than eager to help me out and I was not an exception. They have become more sensitive I guess. Customer orientation (Customer is god) is the order of the day even in public services.
