"Primary Greatness" is it not the same as what Lord Krishna is telling Arjuna in Chapter 6 5th Stanza "Uddharet atmanatmanam …".

The dilemma is; we keep seeing examples of people basking in reflected glory and one then is tempted to resort to such secondary greatness as a short cut.

true we all have primary greatness; but either we stop that to come out or we don't realize that we have it..
