					<description><![CDATA[Being one of the contemporaries, who sailed on the same winds of nostalgia and who has strong bitter-sweet memories of the same place, I was instantly taken to the mushy trip, rekindling the yearning for innocent childhood. The motorcycle ride with the fivesome (siblings) that my father enjoyed almost with the passion of roadie, the exciting swims in the river made by the water gushing out from the Power House (Hydro Power generating station) that flowed like a ferocious glacier, the bazarman&#039;s call, the postman&#039;s lingering for a cup of tea, the dances of the local Katkari paople during Holi and Shimga, the all encompassing boisterous Ganeshotsav, the little school overlooking the famous Tabela, The camour in recreational club in mellowed  evenings, the weekly movies in the open premise of the club, the club functions on all special occasions, playing in mud, eating papdi (small flakes of round crape-like seeds of a  huge tree), the small baby tricyle race, the king- like mango tree, which the weight of mangos humbled in a bow, the miscievous monkeys... I can go on and on and on…]]></description>
