This business of drinking tea at dawn to enhance your abhyaas in std XI brought back a lot of memories. I too did XI matriculation, and my grandmother who did kakadarti at dawn, would make tea for me along with hers. Wonderful stuff with ginger , elaichi and stuff. It awakened me no matter how late one had slept. I also remember this strange connection of matriculation and tea. I remember being given tea which was 10 % tea and 90% milk. And I would be terribly thrilled and grateful for it ! :-)

Being a compulsive Tea drinker who gets headache if skipped the morning tea, all tea drinkers and their tea posts become my favourite ;) There was a long period when I gulped down 12-15 teas a day which has drastically come down to 4-5 cups now but the passion for tea remains high. The street tea has a peculiar charm and I love exploring various street tea in different locales. Talking about Ceylone Tea, it was never my favourite too, for a simple reason their tea are mild and not strong flavoured. For some 7-8 years Ginger chai remains the most favoured and made tea in our household. And ya, that explains why I named my domain GingerChai.com ...

Tea Cheers!
