Is Dr. Sen being prevented in appealing to a higher court?

When there are constitutional remedies open then why a signature campaign? Or am I mistaken in thinking that he can appeal against the judgement given by a lower court?

I join you in registering protest against this atrocious "judgment". As ordinary Indians, we must try to ensure that our country is not turned into a police state. Your post may be a small step in that direction, but when millions raise their voice together, things will certainly change. Thanks for writing on the issue.
