The spouse likes his beer (amongst other things), but is not very loyal to it. The maid likes the bottles, which she can sell to the raddiwala (other liquor bottles cannot be sold). And I want to wash my hair with it, but haven't done so far because of the smell.

As your contemporary, i stayed in hostels for my college too, but realize what a different experience it is for girls. We got our thrills with 25p coca cola, and tea made in the rooms despite missing ingredients in the middle of the night.
