Another good read Sir,

I also believed and now see the same in TATA Steel that fair employers finish first. Not to ignore the problems that TATA Steel also faces from union side but more or less to me, it looks like a fair discussion/debate necessary for reaching to a failure-proof plan.

Here I hear people saying that too much democracy is also bad for the system, but in retrospect I see that employee feel an open-culture where their ideas are also valued. And why not let it be like this, when it's the management's prerogative to decide. The important point to keep in mind and should reflect, is the application of rational mindset with straight and clear communication.

I quote the example of various laterals coming from other industries and the major difference they notice in first few weeks is "Why we can't use our authority and power to make the worker work". In such cases most of the time they hear the answer "It is TATA culture". In this culture the employee feels valued and give their 100% into whatever small/big they do.
