I can see why this is among your favourite posts. We often stifle or even shut off our inner voices. It is lovely to see you converse with that voice in the guise of Lulu. And since our inner voices are always honest and hold a mirror to our personalities and psyches, Lulu is doing the same. Creativity needs to be given a free rein, not controlled or guided. Loved the post, Vivek.

To be honest the post really spoke to me. I have been dabbling with the idea of painting but have no clue where to start & even feel u knw..silly:-). Yearn to live, lots of insecurities, no answers in sight;-P.

Will u show us ur efforts...wd love to see them:-)

Your taking up painting is giving one more meaning to your life.. and insight for me that devoting life-energy in creating something is giving meaning to the life..

How truly said. Being home bound, I used to often wonder how I would be able to pass the time of day. As you very rightly said, when one does something one has always wanted to do and never had the time to, one enjoys it so thoroughly and finds like minded friends (who have no expectations or demands), that 24 hours just don't seem to be enough. And what one does in those hours cannot be termed as "work". Just "living". Life cannot be more enviable.

By the way, I love Lulu. He is such a companionable soul - very wise too. :-)
