Very Nice article Sir... But it is pleasant to see this change in the mindset regarding IR. Though I am not sure if it would sustain. The problem is that most people feel it is a risky preposition and also lacks the luxury of consulting from an AC Office. No doubt it is looked upon in the academic sphere.
But, as I belong to one of the few (possibly 2 or 3)colleges in India that are giving serious importance to IR, I would like to say that there are still students (and many of them around me)who are clear about starting their career on the shop floor (Myself included. With there being a demographic change till 2025, it may well be gaining its importance with a younger and restless workforce. Days seem bright ahead for IR.

Very nice read !

The world is beating a path to India ( or so was the case ) for the numbers we have, as consumers. Organisations have found that there is strength at the 'bottom of the pyramid'.

The fact that strength lies there in itself is a huge indicator of the differences that exist and will more pronouncedly exist in the times to come . Bringing to fore the changes that are required in us and in society.

In the melee of sophistication and sophisticated argument, we seemed to have embraced sophistry of thought. Perhaps the time has come to realise the value of kindness, humaneness and of just seeing another as a 'human being' and not as a 'market segment'.
