Inmates were freely moving about doing duties as they served their time. He said "There are more criminals outside than within these walls". Indeed, they seemed more joyful than people outside the prison anyway.

Normally, Trust eludes the criminal mind and the desire to earn respect and inclusion lingers. Understanding anger is key to reformation. Anger is the emotional energy that asserts a want and expresses the reality of not getting what one wants. Strikes too are such assertions projected through a socialization of that energy without critical thinking. Anger is simultaneously an expression of wanting to deepen the relationship with another. Husband with wife, mother-in-law with daughter-in-law, unions with management, and so on. Communication of wants is thus where competence culminates.

They say about 5 in a 1000 develop a criminal mind. I also recall the veteran Mr. Jayaram Shetty saying that it is better to trust anyone 100% of the time than to begin with mistrust and impoverish our lives. Imagine our pleasure of living, he would say, when we trust only 2 out of 100 people we meet!
