While i read this, it reminds me of the part from Mahabharata, where the yaksha questions Yudishtra and Yudishtra answers him to save his brothers.
The yaksha asks him "what do you see in the world that seems most ridiculous to you" and yudishtra says "people see everyone around them dying and yet they behave as if it would never happen to them and live the life the way they want". The “Self Denial” has an important role to play in this and the idea of “Perfect Murder”… that’s always gonna linger in our minds and just that we eventually get caught.
The picture that you have portrayed here is so profound and it is all around us. it starts from as simple as Kids cheating in exams to get good marks in this so called “Performance Culture” that we boast of. Sometimes, i feel as if we were fish trying to grapple with our thinking faculties to define concept of water.
