Hello sir,

I’m Nikhil Tripathi, I am a Mechanical Engineering Graduate (2020 batch). Recently i am getting many offers to work under NEEM scheme and after reviewing everything I don’t want to work under this scheme if it is not usefull for my career growth. So I request you to guide us… WHAT SHOULD WE DO NEXT?

Dear sir,

I recently completed my NEEM trainee program in MNC company at Pune. It was worst experience of mine as company not even trained us, and expected full time and extra time working forcedly. Due to lack of vacancies for freshers they tends to join this program seeking trainings and assuming great career with MNCs but reality is very much different. If it wouldn’t stopped many people career will have to pay huge as this scheme is hugely misused by almost companies. Please sir i request you/all/Govt to try to stop this type of schemes.

I agree with u sir.I am BE in mechanical engineering.I also worked in a MNC automotive components at ahmednagar for 1 year on shop floor as machine operator.after completion of 1 year, the NEEM agent told us that I’ll get certification I completion as i worked for 1 year. So, I resigned and completed all the procedure necessary. But still I am not still availed by the certificate of completion under the excuse of being under process by AICTE and agent can’t complaint against it till 45 day after resignation. Sir, can u suggest me any way to get through this situation in the way that I can receive certificate anyhow?

dear sir I totally agree with u because now I am working as a Neem trainee they just use us every time I am thinking that what is next can I get permanent job after completion of training or not and also think why they don’t do because I work on there company about 2 to 3yrs I did work as a workman than why they don’t I don’t understand that what will happen in my life I have no idea what I should to do

I am Kaushik Roy, being a NEEM trainee engaged a
MNC auto component Co at Pune. I am BE(Mech)under Pune University. The Company exploited me in such a way that I have to do floor cleaning of Machine room after end of shift. It is fact that there is no technical oriented job training assigned for me.

Sir,

I fully agree with you. Having studied the scheme very closely recently, I am of the view the NEEM offers full liberty to the the employer to exploit these ‘trainees’.
The scheme is way too liberal in its offerings. Even more than the similar scheme is Maharashtra and I wouldn’t be surprised if NEEM is adopted by several employer as ‘cost effective’ way of carrying out their full time operations.

I think the scheme does place a large amount of onus on the employers to use the scheme in a responsible way & I hope, all of us do that, in the spirit of the scheme.
