Vivek, the answer is simple.
What’s that which prompts some one to sacrifice self interest for others? As Osho has rightly said, it is the heart. Such people listen to their heart. And the most overwhelming emotion of heart is LOVE.
So there is no mystery in this. The answer is: Love. For the most near ones it is love, and for the others it is compassion… universal compassion.

खूपच छान लिहिलेय . विश्लेषण अत्यंत विचार करायला लावणारं . वीस वर्षापूर्वी जेव्हां प्रथम मला ही कहाणी कळली तेव्हां मी अचंबित झाले होते . थक्क झाले होते . तेव्हां तिचं हे आजच काम सुरु झालं नव्हत .
मी जेव्हां तिला काही प्रश्न विचारले होते , तेव्हां ती म्हणाली होती , ” मी जरा दुसरा निर्णय घेतला असता तर आज माझ्या दारासमोर गाडी असती , मोठ्ठ घर असतं , मी एका वरच्या पोस्टवर असते .परदेश प्रवास केले असते . एक वेगळेच , आयुष्य मी जगले असते . कधी कधी हे विचार येतात माझ्या मनात ! पण मला सांगता येत नाही की मी हाच निर्णय का घेतला !! ”
आज वीस वर्षां नंतर ती अधिक परिपक्व झाली आहे . आयुष्याशी तिने खूप समजुतदारपणे दोस्ती केलीय ! पण आजही तिला ” नक्की का ? ” हे सांगता येत नाहीये . ” बस , तेव्हां तसं वाटलं ! ” एवढंच !!
