This is a perfect example of not just diversity but even inclusion in the truest sense of the word. That is just the thing with initiatives like these, walk the talk and measure the impact. It is a perfect example of killing do birds with one stone – cultural change and making communities independent (diversity & inclusion).
For once it is good to see a live example of these versus only words on a power-point presentation and other Media/PR stories.

First of all congratulation to all Thermax team.I can see here transformation of worker to diploma/engineer employee.Its really life changing task.I am very happy for this drive because I have also completed my ITI-welder in 1999.There is also good merit require to get the admission in ITI. I had worked 3-4 yrs in MNC automobile industries as welder but that time my dream was to become an engineer,however at that time such program were not avialable.So I decided to leave the job and restart my educationNow I am mechanical engineer and working with well known recognise IT company as domain expert-welding.So I feel proud and know the importance of such program and if such drive is still going on then it will help the people for making there dreams come true. So I can say one opportunity will totally change your life from worker to engineer.Hats off to your efforts.

Thanks a lot Vivek Sir for sharing the initiatives we started at our Savli plant –
ITI to Diploma course for workers, and
Training the women at shop floor for acquiring welding skills, so as to give them equal employment opportunity.

To take up such activities needs a vision, drive and true leadership, which Sharad Sir always provides us at Thermax.

In true sense, it is helping us to build trust, transparency and confidence amongst our emoyees at Savli.
And this is what we see it as a “transformative culture”.
