Most of what you overcame, I too am trying to. Except that my battle seems to be never ending. Incidentally, on the “self-knowledge” bit that you mentioned, I heard the same thought yesterday in a movie. Pigeon Tunnel. it’s about late John le Carre, my favourite author. He also shared that writing is an inner journey for him. Indeed a fabulous film. An AppleTV+ release on their OTT. Coming back to my inner demons… I think, no, I know it. My being indisciplined is my biggest enemy when it comes to writing + all my fears. Thanks, Vivek for helping me to look at myself. Yes, I am experiencing discomfort just now. And I know where is it coming from.
