In your short and poignant peice, you have beautifully captured the essence of successful relationship, marriage being one of the more tricky ones, as we grew at a time when marriage brought partnership for life, whether you liked/understood each other or otherwise. It was in a way one way ticket. But how to make this mutually enjoyable and rewarding is what you have brought out in your inimitable way.

Very insightful and very familiar. It is our 41st year and the quills are still there. I guess they will always be there. The key is to see how not to poke the other with yours and how not to get poked by their’s.
